Our Team

Chris Welling

Chris’ enthusiasm for sport led him to study a Bachelor of Health Science (Principles of Physiotherapy) and a Master of Physiotherapy at Flinders University. An experienced physiotherapist, Chris is also the current Touch Football South Australia Physiotherapist, has supported the South Australian Women’s Hockey team and various high-level tennis and wheelchair tennis tournaments.

Chris provides a goal-orientated approach to sports injuries and has a particular interest in ACL, shoulder dislocations, ankle sprains and tennis elbow, in addition to helping his patients prevent longer term chronic issues. A believer in treating the root cause of the issue, not just the symptoms, Chris (like all the team at Aspire) provides a well-rounded program of self-rehabilitation to enable patients to return to normal activity levels.

Treating a wide range of patients, Chris also runs strength, and stretch classes in addition to offering dry needling, strength and conditioning in Rehab Classes, and the world famous GLA:D program for people with hip and knee osteoarthritis.

Unsurprisingly, when not working at Aspire, Chris can be found playing sport – golf or squash. He also enjoys renovating his house or looking after his two much loved sausage dogs.

Life's too short to feel average.

Let our team at Aspire Physiotherapy help you to move better, feel better and live better!
