At Aspire Physiotherapy

Our range of specialised classes are designed with you in mind.

Healthy, resilient bodies need strength, mobility and regular conditioning. At Aspire Physiotherapy, we know it can be difficult to maintain a good exercise routine to help prevent injury and pain.

Rehabilitation exercise classes are supervised by our physiotherapists and help support you in meeting your goals for improving mobility, preventing injury and improving pain.

Our classes are run onsite at our clinic in Glenelg, are small in size (no more than 6 people) and are designed with you in mind.

Gentle Mat Class

A great starting point if you haven’t exercised for a while or are currently injured or sore.

Consisting of a combination of gentle, core strengthening and posture training, as well as stretching, it can help to address long term pain or injuries.

To provide you with the best support, we’ll ask you to attend a 1:1 pre-class assessment so that we understand you, your goals, and any relevant medical history.

$240 for a 10 class pass, or $145 for a 5 class pass.

Open Mat Class

Your next step, when you’re feeling a little stronger and can perform key exercises with good technique including core strength and control. You’re likely recovering from an injury and almost ready to return to sport or your favourite activities.

To provide you with the best support, we’ll ask you to attend a 1:1 pre-class assessment so that we understand you, your goals, and any relevant medical history.

$240 for a 10 class pass, or $145 for a 5 class pass.

Pregnancy Mat Class

Open from week 12 of pregnancy until you reach full term, these classes are modified to suit each person and help to minimise pain caused by your growing baby as well as keeping you flexible and mobile. They’re gentle and safe but please still check with your healthcare provider first, before attending this class.

$240 for a 10 class pass, or $145 for a 5 class pass.

Mums & Bubs Mat Class

You’ve had a baby and want to start regaining your fitness goals as well as rebuilding core strength whilst in a safe, post-natal environment (where your baby can come too)! Helpful if you have abdominal separation, pelvic floor weakness or back pain post birth. Available to Mums who have babies between 6 weeks and 14 months old.

$240 for a 10 class pass, or $145 for a 5 class pass.

Stretch Class

The perfect class for you if you love to exercise but feel really tight and sore. You might have an injury and can’t complete your normal form of exercise but want to build your strength and mobility back up. Join this class to feel ‘more bendy’ and flexible!

$240 for a 10 class pass, or $145 for a 5 class pass.

Strength Based Rehabilitation Class

Equipment based class with a focus on helping you to reach your individual rehabilitation goals. Perfect if you’re looking to prepare for surgery, or recover post-surgery, if you’re just looking to make sure you’re doing it right and moving correctly or if you have a niggling pain that just won’t go away.

To provide you with the best support, we’ll ask you to attend a 1:1 pre-class assessment so that we understand you, your goals, and any relevant medical history.

$420 for a 12 class pass, or $240 for a 6 class pass.

GLA:D Class

GLA:D®, Good Life with osteoArthritis: Denmark, is an education and exercise program developed by researchers in Denmark for people with hip or knee osteoarthritis symptoms.

Research from the GLA:D® program in Australia shows an average pain reduction of 36%, reduced analgesic consumption, reduction in perceived need for surgery, and clinically meaningful improvement in joint confidence.

GLA:D® Education and exercises provided can be applied to everyday activities, ensuring participants develop skills to self-manage their osteoarthritis. By strengthening and improving confidence with exercise, participants develop better capacity to become or stay active, prevent symptom progression and reduce pain.

$564 for a 6 week program (2 classes a week plus an education session).

Move & Groove Class

This class is for over 60 year olds seeking a safe, supervised class to improve strength and balance, in a fun and social environment. To provide you with the best support, we’ll ask you to attend a 1:1 Pre-Class Appointment so that we understand you, your goals, and any relevant medical history.

$140 for a 10 class pass, or $17 for a single class.
